Lionel Messi is nicknamed ‘La Pulga Atomica’ in Spain and South America, which translates to ‘The Atomic Flea’, probably because of his size and extraordinary ability to decimate the opposing team with his onfield skills. In one of the 2013 Classicos against Madrid, Messi curled a free kick over the wall and into the top corner of the net equalizing the game and resulting in an ecstatic and joyous celebration.
